ubuntu 21.04 on Acer Aspire 5: acpi misinformation

at flag

I was happy to get Ubuntu running on my Aspire 5, having been warned here and elsewhere that only a very recent Ubuntu version would work.

One thing remains "less than perfect": acpi does not meaningfully report any temperatures. On other systems/environments I get CPU temp, ambient temp, perhaps even more, but here I get no more than

    acpi -t
    Thermal 0: ok, 27.8 degrees C

and the 27,8C is remarkably constant, might well be hardcoded as a stop-gap... Can this be considered a bug? If so, how to report it effectively?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
