Grub Rescue: no /boot directory, cannot boot

ng flag

I got a new laptop and am trying to move my dual-boot SSD into the new machine. However, I get thrown into the grub rescue terminal when trying to boot. I've tried following many guides, but I cannot proceed past the insmod stage, as I cannot find it on any of the hd0 partitions. My grub is on (hd0,gpt6) and all the guides I've read say to set the prefix to something like (hd0,gpt6)/boot/grub). I do not have a /boot directory on this partition.

I found the normal.mod module inside (hd0,gpt6)/grub/x86_64-efi/ but running insmod <filePath> produces the error invalid arch independent ELF magic. I have no idea what this means.

How can I resolve this?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
