Quicklists don't work for specific applications

hk flag

I use Unity launcher Quicklists for libreoffice and some other applications, mostly to open certain commonly consulted files. This works fine. However, for evince and gnome-terminal, none of my quicklists show up: I just get the option to unlock the application from the launcher or launch it.

For reference, here's what I have to try to test evince.desktop:

Confirm your version, and whether you effectively use the Unity desktop (`printenv DESKTOP_SESSION`)

I'm on Ubuntu 21.10, and "$ printenv DESKTOP_SESSION" returns "unity".

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
