How to resolve problem with sudo not working and startup freezes on Ubuntu logo but I can SSH remotely to that computer?

problem 1: sudo is not working. I have tried rebooting in recovery mode and in the root prompt, I ran the commands to fix permission errors and restarted, but sudo is not working yet.

The commands I ran at root prompt # were:

mount -o remount,rw /
mount –all
chown root:root /usr/bin/sudo
chmod 4755 /usr/bin/sudo
restart

Problem 2:
Ubuntu freezes on the logo screen, but does not show the terminal with shell prompt, however I can remotely SSH in to that computer and access files on it.

Problem 1: Seems like whatever commands you ran were not the correct commands. Problem 2 might easily be a symptom of whatever you did to cause Problem 1.

Sudo not working or having issue with resolving? Maybe you should change your resolve.conf nameserver to 8.8.8.8

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
