Issue on resume from Lock

us flag

Not sure if this is an issue with the upgrade or 21.10 in general. I recently upgraded from 21.04 to 21.10. Now, when I login for the first time, my view of the desktop is shown with the workspaces view (zoomed out showing the primary workspace on monitor 1). I just click on the screen and it's fine. However, when my screen locks (either from inactivity or by manually locking it with Start+L) and I enter my password to resume, I'm met with the dash-to-docker at the bottom basically completely losing its mind and only displaying the "Show Applications" button. Beyond that if I click "Show Applications" or hit the Start button, the application screen comes up with no applications and I'm not able to do anything at that point. The screen isn't frozen but I can't input anything in the search or dismiss the window. Only thing I can do at that point is just log out fully and log in again. Any suggestions?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
