4K monitor with 150% scaling for web development (pixel perfect designs)

ve flag

I had 1440p monitor with 100% scaling for many years. In some cases, when I need to be precise with pixels, it's faster to make a screenshot, zoom it in in gimp and get the value than calculate all these margins, paddings, especially when the distance between deeply nested containers has to be measured.

Now I have an issue with 4K screen. I would like to use 150% scaling, but it makes the screenshot technic unusable, and in some cases even incorrect. I mean odd numbers. Like an icon 13x13px becomes.. 19.5x19.5 pixels with 150% zoom, it can not be drawn precisely. So to measure the distance between elements now I have to divide the result by roughly 1.5, and that's very inconvenient.

So does anybody work with 150% zoom level with designs?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
