Fan speed issues in ASUS ROG-GL553VE

cn flag

I am using Ubuntu 20.04 on my ASUS ROG-GL553VE with i7-7700HQ 8GB RAM and GTX 1050Ti. Before this, I had it dual booted with windows and fedora and it was working mostly fine, but when I installed Ubuntu in place of fedora my fans are always running on high speed and are very noisy.

I think this is due to GPU but not sure. Also another thing not sure if it's related but since I installed CUDA on my system I am not able to suspend my system. It just shows a blinking underscore on a blank screen and then I have to force shutdown with the power button.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
