Lock interaction on current screen

pl flag

I'd like to lock the current screen so that it continues to update its display but prevents others from interacting with it until they log in. Does anything like this exist? I haven't been able to find it.

I'm in a lab with dozens of other students. We recently built a new computer for machine learning. I'd like for it to show how model training is going but prevent others in the lab from interacting unless they're logged in.

Thanks!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
