Why can't I connect to "extension.gnome.org" when opening up the package manager?

cn flag

Upon attempting to open up my package manager on Ubuntu Bionic (as I have been doing for years with no problems) yesterday I started receiving the following error message: "Unable to download updates from "extensions.gnome.org":[///source/shell-extensions/] failed to download https://extensions.gnome.org//static/extensions.json: SSL handshake failed"

Any ideas as to why this happening or how to fix it? It is not an internet connection problem, I am using a VPN but have tried disabling it and still receive the same message.

Thanks

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
