Dualboot Ubuntu WiFi Adapter problems

ru flag

I'm currently running a Windows 10 / Ubuntu 20.04 dualbooted laptop (They're on two different partitions on the same drive)

Ever since Windows decided it was time to update, my Ubuntu can't use the wifi adapter. When I go into WiFi settings on Ubuntu it shows this: wifi adapter error

Here's the things I've tried:

Now, I know dualbooting from the same drive is a bad idea but it's the only solution I have at the moment - As I need both Windows and Ubuntu for school.

Here is the output from $ lsmod | grep rtw:

rtw_8822ce 16384 0
rtw_8822c 479232 1 rtw_8822ce
rtw_pci 24576 1 rtw_8822ce
rtw_core 196608 2 rtw_8822c,rtw_pci
mac80211 1024000 2 rtw_core,rtw_pci
cfg80211 888832 3 wl,rtw_core,mac80211

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

No, dual-booting from the same drive or different one is exactly the same. Disabling Fast Startup in Windows is indeed a must when dual-booting, if you actually done that (Fast Boot is a UEFI feature, not Windows) then you're good to go, after shutting down Windows, not reboot (important). Please [edit] your question and add output of `lspci -knn | grep Net -A3` terminal command in order to correctly identify the WiFi device.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
