Automatic creation of ddeb symbol packages

tf flag

I tried to create ddeb packages for an application package I provide. Previously I used to install "pkg-create-dbgsym" but this helper is no longer provided in 20.04. So no ddeb package is created in my case.

My current workaround is building a deb with dbg symbols included, but I would prefer an extra ddeb or dbgsym package.

Extra info:

debian/compat = 11

I tried compat = 12 with no success.

Do I have to add anything to rules?

Thank you in advance! Gunther

PS: I did read https://wiki.debian.org/AutomaticDebugPackages

PS2: I found out about the new package pkgbinarymangler. Sill no ddeb got generated after its installation.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
