Darktable won't start when opencl enabled

in flag

I just installed AMD driver 21.40.1 for my rx580, as the default open source driver on ubuntu (20.04) does not support opencl. Now when I start Darktable it hangs, it never opens and a darktable process loads one cpu core 100%. It freezes at

If I launch darktable with --disable-opencl then it launches, but ofc with no opencl enabled. Anyone else experiencing this, any ideas on how to get opencl working..?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
