21.04 Codec H264 error installing. Won't uninstall

jp flag

I have Ubuntu 21.04 and I was trying to install the decoder H264 following this tutorial: https://linuxhint.com/install-h264-decoder-ubuntu/

But at some point it just stays loading and doesn't allow me to accept the EULA. Had to close the window and trying to power off my computer I get prompted that it needs the password because something was still running. Fast forward to today. I try again, tells me to dpkg configure manually. I do, run the command again, same thing happens. Try to remove the package using the same command but with uninstall and same thing. Tried to install it again using the instructions on this post (specifically @webwurst): How to install the MPEG-4 AAC decoder and the H.264 decoder? but the same thing happens. Can someone help?

If your problem is only accepting the license than probably you don't know how to navigate that dialog as it doesn't support mouse clicks. You need to use TAB, direccional keys, SPACE to select the option in multiple items menus and ENTER to confirm.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
