crackling sound on Ubuntu budgie

in flag

I am experiencing crackling sound in some applications like Firefox if I use HDMI.

It’s not present if I play Steam games.

It’s normally not present if I use headphones, but under vcvrack 2.0 can sometimes give crackling sound.

OS: Latest Ubuntu budgie. Hardware: AMD Ryzen 7 2700. ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING SAPPHIRE Pulse Radeon RX 5500 Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 3200MHz RAM 2X Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB

How do I solve this issue?

Sound quality issues are usually something wrong with hardware so check all components, cables, and ports. The fact that the problem doesn't manifest when using headphones reinforces the idea that there's something wrong on the hardware side.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
