Please [edit] your question and add output of `lspci -knn | grep Net -A3` or `lsusb`if external terminal command.

Hi @ChanganAuto , thanks for answering!! I did what you asked, but I got no output from the first command (`lspci -knn | grep Net -A3`). The output of `lsusb` is now in the question.

Please try with `lspci` only and post the line about the network device. If it's this one https://www.asus.com/us/Networking-IoT-Servers/Adapters/All-series/PCE-AC51/ then it's a PCI card.

I added the only line about network device (I only got ethernet controller, nothing about wireless). And yes, it is that PCI card, I have edited the question to make it clear.

Disable Secure Boot in UEFI and try again. Very likely it'll just work.

I've just tried but nothing... It still doesn't work.

So, it's not being detected at all. Perhaps not compatible with the motherboard.

I think it is compatible with the motherboard, because the computer was tested before I bought it, presumably with windows 10. Is there anything else I could try to solve this problem?

Brand/model of the motherboard?

Gigabyte b450m s2h.

It has 2 PCI Express x1 slots so maybe try in the other one? Try in another computer, etc. Other than that not much else to try. You need to confirm all the hardware is working. The card has an old chipset that has native support in Linux since many years. So, if everything works no user action required (no need to install drivers or anything else - the driver provided by Asus is only for very old kernels). So, if it isn't even recognized with standard commands and Secure Boot is disabled, we have to conclude at least one part is defective.

Okey, thank you!! I'm going to try what you are suggesting and then I'll write here if I get something.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
