This org.gnome.gnome-system-monitor.gschema.xml schema is contained in gnome-system-monitor package. You have to reinstall it by

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install --reinstall gnome-system-monitor

If you find your GNOME fully broken, then reinstall it completely by

sudo apt-get install --reinstall ubuntu-desktop^

According to several online sources this can be fixed by installing "gsettings-desktop-schemas":

sudo apt install gsettings-desktop-schemas

However, this error suggests there may be issues with your desktop environment therefore it's prudent to reinstall it:

sudo apt install --reinstall ubuntu-desktop
mangohost

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
