switching an internal hard disk into an external one

in flag

i have an internal hard drive with linux ubuntu 20.04 in it, and since i bought a new pc this week, i wanted to use it as external hard druve for dual boot. by basically keeping my windows in my new pc's internal ssd, and adding the hdd as external. then switching the boot to always boot from external hard drive if it in, ad internal if not.

the problem here is the fact that i think the external hard drive wont work if i try to boot from it since it contains the older mother board config... is there a way to make it work out please ?

The biggest problem that you're going to have is with the external hard disk case. All of them contain an internal USB->SATA convertor module, and that means that some/all hard disks will need to be re-initialized once installed into the external case.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
