"allegedly"? Do you harbor doubts that the situation is as the package manager presents it to you? Anyway, you might want to look into the allegation that your /boot partition is full.

what happens when you `sudo apt update` ? means you have a problem there? or just in the upgrade, you have a problem. and did you try `sudo apt autoremove` ?

@OrganicMarble I don't harbor doubts that you are an angel. My /boot partition was indeed full. Now everything works perfectly and I could upgrade my linux-image finally! ^^ Thanks for the help, you made my day!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
