How can I resize a lvm partition?

au flag

I am running Ubuntu 20.04 Server ARM64 in VMWare Fusion on macOS and I just ran into the virtual disk size of 20GB, I increased the disk to 40GB in VMWare Fusion but I also have to increase the partition in the guest system itself.

This is the filesystem I am dealing with:

I already increased nvme0n1p3 to 40GB but this didn't increase the lvm-partition I am actually working on.

Can someone help to figure out how to increase this one as well?

Thank you so much

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
