Ubuntu doesn't support the necessary drivers for my adapter. What should I do?

I am trying to connect two monitors to my laptop which is running Ubuntu alongside Windows 10 as dual boot.

I plugged the first monitor to the HDMI port and the second to the usb 3.0 port via a usb to hdmi adapter. In windows 10, it works perfectly fine and I was able to install/update the necessary drivers. But with Ubuntu, the monitor is not working and no drivers are shown in the Software & Updates apps.

I figured my usb to hdmi adapter doesn't support linux. Then how can someone connect two monitors to their laptop running linux, if their laptop has only one hdmi port?

Here is the link to the adapter I am using https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/insignia-usb-to-4k-hdmi-adapter-only-at-best-buy/14773591

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
