getting error when running CUDA samples on ubuntu 20.04

I installed Cuda 10.4 toolkit and Cudnn on ubuntu 20.04. Nvidia-smi shows a CUDA version of 11.4. However, nvcc -V command outputs not found.

When I run cuda samples, I recieve following message:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding.
