I wanted to self-host a website and I cant find solution to this anywhere. So, I have website files in /var/www/html but when I connect it only detects index.html I tried to manually enter directory but it shows 404 even though it's there.

Have you confirmed the files are accessible to `www-data`? Are you running a static HTML site?

@matigo how can I check that?

Are you using Ubuntu Desktop or Server? The method you use to put the files in `/var/www/html` may also show you ownership / permission details

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
