There are no internet settings on Ubuntu Server after I installed a GUI via tasksel

ec flag

I have Ubuntu Server on my PC, but I found that it's difficult for me to deal with terminal only, so I have installed a GUI with tasksel and everything is okay except the internet settings.

There doesn't appear to be a way to set up my network. How can I get the network settings working so I can join my network?

If you need a GUI then install the (deskop) Ubuntu flavor of your choice directly. Installing a Desktop Environment in Ubuntu Server doesn't change the way it manages the network settings.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
