How can I list all available apt packages?

sh flag

I know that I can Install apt packages from a desired file path. (In my case it was linux installation .iso file). By adding the path of mounted .iso file to /etc/apt/sources.list.

This procedure installs the desired package offline because I told my apt to look for packages in /file/path/to/linux-x64.iso

But I want to know the how can I LIST all available apt packages from that mounted .iso file so I can install them now instead of downloading them later.

It would be handy to know anyway...

Do you mean `apt list` or `apt list --installed`?

You may delete this (_it's your question after all_) But I'd let other community members decide what to do.

There is no "cheap" question if it helps you and potentially others. Beginner questions are welcome.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
