pt flag

I'm trying to get some system information from my computer, and I wrote sudo dmidecode -s system-version in the Terminal, but am receiving a Not Specified error:

How can I read my system information?

You can always run `man dmidecode` to learn more about the syntax and all available command options.

This generally means that the computer manufacturer did not set a value for `system-version` in the DMI table. Using just `sudo dmidecode` by itself will give you a full list of the structures available for reading.

If your BIOS does not hold the version dmidecode can not provide it. You would need to update your BIOS with a version that does, if that is possible.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
