Ubuntu gray/foggy screen after sleep mode

lb flag

When I start my system after sleep mode, the entire screen becomes gray/foggy. I cannot recover from this point. The only solution is to power off by holding down the power key and then restart. I'm attaching here image of the screen: enter image description here

EDIT

Sometimes this problem also happens when I first turn on the computer. After submitting password for the account, the screen becomes like shown in above image. After restarting and resubmitting the password, it behaves normally. I'm worrying that this issue will become persistent at one point and I will totally lose access to my system...

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
