Cannot copy and paste files into common folder --- Ubuntu 20.04

sd flag

I cannot copy and paste common files (.odt, .pdf...) into common dekstop folders. I run Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. I guess some permission got switched off. Can somebody help me with the issue?

EDIT: For example, if I copy a text file (Ctrl+C), I cannot paste it (Ctrl+V) into any folder. If I try to drag a file into a folder, I cannot do it, because the dragged file "gets rejected" and stays in the original place. It's a recent issue (the first time I noticed the problem was about a month ago).

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
