fprintd can't enroll fingerprint

cn flag

I'm having this weird issue where i can detect the fingerprint reader via "lsusb" and that it is supposed to be supported by fprintd, but when trying to enroll it I get this error:

user@user:~$ fprintd-enroll Using device /net/reactivated/Fprint/Device/0 Enrolling right-index-finger finger. Enroll result: enroll-unknown-error

Here is what lsusb gives me:

Bus 003 Device 004: ID 27c6:639c Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,Ltd. Goodix USB2.0 MISC

I am quite out of ideas :/ Thanks in advance for any help!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
