How can I change the launcher (from favourites) in ubuntu to include manual shell configuration?

Well I run into a weird bug with webstorm. And after some debugging inside stackoverflow I notice the problem is due to the way webstorm is run.

The underlying problem can be found here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/70928355/running-new-project-from-webstorm-interface-crashes-while-running-from-shell-doe/

Now the solution to that problem is to make sure that webstorm is ran with the same settings as the interactive shell/terminal. However I cannot seem to find how to do this in the bash shell.

How can I make sure that the $PATH used is similar to the one created through nvm for the interactive shell?

The answer on SO contains a third option, wherein you are supposed to edit your additional arguments into the desktop launcher. If you want to try that, [this answer](https://askubuntu.com/a/1341820/1157519) of mine may have something useful for that (in its first half). (In a nutshell, you can maintain a customized launcher by copying it to `~/.local/share/applications/`, and editing your custom arguments into that copy.)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
