Ubuntu LTS install stuck "Processing triggers for dbus (1.12.16-2ubuntu2.1)"

mc flag

Installing Ubuntu LTS offline via usb, and get stopped at Processing triggers for dbus (1.12.16-2ubuntu2.1) for a long period of time.

If I run the installer online, I seem to get stuck at the message subiquity/late/run.

I've let it run for a while in both scenarios, I don't think I am being impatient because nothing is happening.

What version of Ubuntu? Is the installation media valid? Does it pass integrity checks? Is your motherboard BIOS up-to-date?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
