xrandr orientation reset after sleep

gb flag

Edit: I'm running Ubuntu Desktop 20.04

So I have this tiny laptop Onemix 3s Yoga for which it appears the screen orientation is natively set to portrait even though is conceived to be used in landscape. As a result: bios, grub and of course ubuntu desktop are displayed sideway.

I fixed it by adding a startup app running :

xrandr -o left

and locking screen orientation in quick settings.

However, whenever I close the lid and the computer goes to sleep, it wakes up all reversed again. Is there a simple way to prevent this from happening ?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
