Wifi authentication failed after suspending

gb flag

I installed Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on this old laptop I had lying around and it brought it back to life and I really like the experience but whenever I suspend the laptop and resume it says network authentication fails and I have to do a full restart.

It does show all the WiFi networks in the area including mine, just that it fails to connect.

I've tried the solutions here but none of them seem to resolve my issue. Wifi doesn't work after suspend after 16.04 upgrade

this is what I get from the command

$ lspci -knn | grep Net -A3

Please [edit] your question and add output of `lspci -knn | grep Net -A3` terminal command so we can identify the specific hardware. Solutions, if any, are hardware specific.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
