Postgres asks for password without having a password?

lv flag

I installed Postgresql on Ubuntu today. After going through the installation steps without problems, psql asks for the database password. But I never got asked for a password or had the option to create or set a password. I tried some of my basic passwords that I may have selected by accident but they are not working. Does anyone know how I can uninstall postgres completely from my Ubuntu machine without entering the anonymous "password"?

How do you run `psql` (exact command)?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
