I hope to find help about this problem:
Everything remained fine after i installed Ubuntu approx. two years ago,but after resuming from suspend after a recent update and restart from a couple of days ago, my computer freezes. There is no reaction if I push any key with my usb keyboard, the lights for numlock and caps lock on my keyboard do not react and the display of my two monitors remain black. I did not change anything else than installing a regular system update, like I do every week. I did not customize the suspend settings in any way except in the gui settings menu.
Also when I start memtest it freezes after 1 second (00:00:01).
Resuming from suspend in Windows and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Live CD) works fine.
Memtest86+ 5.01 from UBCD (Live CD) works also fine without errors (Pass 1).
I tried different gpu drivers:
- X.Org-X-Server: suspend does not work, instead my session gets locked.
- NVIDIA driver metapackage...390: suspend does not work, instead my session gets locked.
- NVIDIA binary driver 340.108: suspend does not work, instead my session gets locked.
- My default driver is the recommended one (NVIDIA driver metapackage...470, tested).
About my computer:
- OS Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS Dualboot with Windows
- Mainboard MS-7752 (To be filled by O.E.M.) Z77A-G45 (MS-7752)
- CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz
- GPU NVIDIA GK106 [GeForce GTX 660]
- PCI CMI8788 [Oxygen HD Audio]

- Memory 2x 4GiB DIMM DDR3 Synchron 1333 MHz (0,8 ns) + 2x 2GiB DIMM DDR3 Synchron 1333 MHz (0,8 ns)

Please help me to find what part in ma OS is faulty for that and how can I recover/repair it.
