Samba share wont let me delete folders created on macos

cn flag

If I create a folder on MacOS, it cannot be removed by other devices unless I refresh finder or restart the Samba Service. Any idea why this might be?

Can I verify the situation? You are subbing Samba on a MacOS device, and your Ubuntu systems are unable to delete files on that MacOS Samba share. Correct? How have you mounted the Samba location in Ubuntu?

I have an Ubuntu Server running a samba share. I am connected to it on a MacOS device and a windows desktop. When folders are added to it by the share, the windows device cannot delete the directory (it shows deleted but if you leave the share and go back in it shows up. trying to delete again says I lack the proper perms to do so). If I restart the samba service or refresh my Finder instance, the changes take effect

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
