manylinux_2_17 on Ubuntu 20.04

lc flag

The manylinux_2_17 requirement is essentially a set of libraries (glibc, etc.)

Is there a way to install this specific set of libraries (or compatible newer versions) on Ubuntu 20.04 specifically, from some PPA?

Edit: it seems that the versions of the libraries that are shipped with 20.04 are in fact compatible with what 2_17 requires. I guess what I'm asking for is a meta-package like build-essential that ensures that I have all the libraries installed.

Is `2_17` an absolute requirement? Or would `2_31` be acceptable?

One library on the PYPI publishes `2_17` but not `2_31`.

That is unfortunate. `2_17` only works with Ubuntu 13.04 and 13.10, which is well out of support

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
