How to start ubuntu directly without going in boot manager

I have installed an ubuntu on my laptop, but it not directly boot up as turn on the laptop. While i am turn on the laptop power key, then i have to continus pressing f12 key to go in boot menu, then i have to select ubuntu, then it start my ubuntu window. Can anyone tell me why this happens and how i fix it. I want my ubuntu window start with switch on the laptop.i m getting very much frustrated.
