Gnome3 - No impish Release file

fr flag

Today - without me changing or configuring anything regarding updates and repos - i get this error message:

E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnome3-team/gnome3/ubuntu impish Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnome3-team/gnome3-staging/ubuntu impish Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.

I looked into the launchpad and could indeed not find any release for impish. But some days ago updates worked just fine, so i am now wondering what the deal is in this case. I could not find any details and i am now unsure about how to handle this. Are there any solutions or suggestions?

Almost four years to the day have passed since the PPA saw its last update. Are you certain there have been no changes to any of your Apt sources files? Either way, you'll need to comment out the repositories in order to eliminate the error.

Enter the command `sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3` Does this answer your question? [Error PPA ehoover has no release file](https://askubuntu.com/questions/1388776/error-ppa-ehoover-has-no-release-file)

I am sure that i did nothing to the PPA and repos - at least willingly, since i must have done something. Anyway, thank you very much!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
