Nothing happening after libcamera build?

br flag

I am very new to this, so please don't think I am an idiot. PC Model: Thinkpad X1 Tablet Gen 2

I have built libcamera... installing Meson and building with Ninja.

My webcam has not worked for a while but I found out recently v4l-info shows:

$ v4l-info

So my video driver is actually recognized (Intel IPU3 CIO2), though it does not show up in lsusb.

When opening "Cheese" after the install the GUI now says "No device found", which is different from before, it then just said that the device is not supported (Don't remember the exact phrase).

But am I missing something? I have built libcamera and as far as I know GStreamer comes with it, which is needed to run the webcam on Cheese.

Are you running a supported Ubuntu release? Which? Read https://askubuntu.com/help/how-to-ask and https://askubuntu.com/help/formatting . What does `id;ls -l /dev/vid*` show? [Edit] your question to add information

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
