How can i fix a blinking underscore when i boot my comp?

vn flag

Yesterday i tried dowloading Eclipse on my Ubuntu with the terminal and it said i dont have enough space so i turned off the ubuntu and switched to windows because i have a dual boot system to empty some space there. When i tried opening ubuntu again just a blinking _ keeps on being displayed, i have a 20.40.3 version if im correct. I tried literally everything i could find on the internet(youtube, stackoverfloat) but i just cannot get it to work. Do you maybe have some suggestions? Thank you for you answers.

Please [edit] the question and describe accurately what you did in Windows in order to "empty space from there", namely if you changed partitions describe exactly all the steps you performed.

Did you try using a live Ubuntu USB session to delete some files to free up space?

Also, how did you delete files from Ubuntu from Windows? Did you mount the Ubuntu partition using WSL2 and which files did you delete?

you will probably need to use the grub terminal to free up space. I would advise searching `grub boot options` either in the SE search bar above or the one above that.

Hi, here is more detailed description on what i have done to try and fix the issue. First i went on https://bit.ly/36otkMs, here i tried everything that was suggested i also used the replacement tasks like (sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm3 or sudo service gdm3 restart) and also these did not work. So i went on YouTube I tried (https://bit.ly/3vilvlM) (https://bit.ly/3BHAC9L) (https://bit.ly/3BIW8Lis) nothing worked and this is where i gave up. I am wondering is there a way to retrieve files from ubuntu to put it on a hard drive and ill just reinstall ubuntu and put the files back into place? Thanks!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
