Using ffmpeg to combine a set of TIFFS to video

id flag

I want to use ffmpeg to join a large set of TIFFS to a video. In Windows the input part of the command is -i K:\horses3\%06d.tif where K: is the drive that holds a folder called 'horses3' and all TIFFS are 6 characters in length. How do I translate 'horses3\%06d.tif' in Ubuntu? When I try it tells me that 'horses3' is a directory.

Yes, but it's refusing to go any further.

Thanks for reply. I have now solved the problem. It was my lack of knowledge of Linux that caused the real problem!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
