How to downgrade Gnome Boxes to previous version?

How to downgrade gnome-boxes to 3.38 version. I really needed that version. Because the latest version doesn't have remote connection issue anymore.

You cannot downgrade packages in Ubuntu. Rather, use something else like virtualbox.

This is probably an X-Y problem. And *Because the latest version doesn't have remote connection issue anymore* sounds nonsensical, if the "latest version" no longer has said issue why you'd you want to downgrade? Anyway it can't be done, Gnome apps must match the Gnome DE version.

What are you asking for? Do you want the latest version? If so, that would be an upgrade. A downgrade is installing a previous version which may not be available, but you can check by running `apt-cache madison gnome-boxes`. Please clear up your question for what you are asking for. Also include what version of Ubuntu you are using. Thank you!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
