How to allow external connections to my Ubuntu Server through winscp

sy flag

I have a server setup with Ubuntu Server 21.04 and from my main PC, i can connect to the server with all of the accounts.

my question though, is how do i allow and set it up so that my friends who are working with me to access the server files through WinSCP?

i believe i have the port forwards correct i KNOW i have permissions for users correct I dont know if we are using the correct host name to connect though. - and with this, would it be possible to add DNS service settings to a site that i have so they can just connect through the site address like "xxxx.com"?

Ubuntu 21.04 (along with all flavors) is *End-of-Life* and thus unsupported on this site (https://askubuntu.com/help/on-topic), and many other Ubuntu sites, unless your question is specific to moving to a supported release of Ubuntu. https://fridge.ubuntu.com/2022/01/21/ubuntu-21-04-hirsute-hippo-end-of-life-reached-on-january-20-2022/ https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades (*what David said!*)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
