Device ID and samba shares jumbled after drive and SATA Controller upgrade

in flag

I am a moderately talented amateur in Ubuntu. For at least eight years, I have had a Ubuntu media and backup server running samba serving a Mac and windows PC's. I am currently on Ubuntu Server 20.04.

I cloned a lower capacity hard drive with a larger one. I had no issue there (I checked before the next step). I then replaced on older SATA controller with a new one. I also had to reposition some SATA connections on the motherboard (although I thought I had all the connections the same as previously Upon booting, everything changed.)

Every drive is identified by both the server and by samba as another drive/share. There is nothing common before compared to after.

Most interestingly, one physical drive is (dt01aca) is mounted in media.

I am trying to get the names to correspond to the correct ones. I figure at that point, fixing the samba shares in windows will either happen automatically or I can easily remap the drives.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
