Problems with home wifi after first time Ubuntu I installation

cn flag

I hope you can provide some help: my name is Benny and I recently switched my laptop (HP pavilion) OS from windows to Ubuntu. But, am still very new to Linux at large and Ubuntu. I have literally no prior experience with Linux, and made the change out of frustration because my laptop was constantly freezing up. I am sure that is no surprise to you. So although I was competent enough to follow some YouTube tutorials and download Ubuntu, I cannot connect to my home wifi. So, I would appreciate it if you could ( can I send you some pics I took of the error messages and maybe) suggest the right commands I need to type in on Ubuntu. Thank you so much and G-D bless. Benny

Please [edit] your question and add output of `lspci -knn | grep Net -A3` terminal command. This will identify your device. While [edit]ing you can also remove all the unnecessary text, the sob narrative, as it doesn't belong to the question which is "Installed Ubuntu. WiFi doesn't work. Here's the result of the requested command in comments: ..." Assertiveness is key.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
