PHP using other version's (other than the one that's enabled) for modules dir

in flag

I have multiple PHP versions installed.

I have set the desired version using sudo update-alternatives --config php

And confirmed the desired version is being used (by doing php -v).

But something is making something look in a different version's DIR for modules.

Specifically, I have enabled 7.4, but when I do phpenmod module_name I get an error saying Module module_name ini file doesn't exists under /etc/php/8.1/mods-available (it's looking in 8.1's dir rather than 7.4's).

What can I do to fix this to make it look for modules within the 7.4 dir?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
