Annotation on a shared PDF in a Zoom meeting

py flag

So i have been using Zoom for some time now but ever since I switched to Ubuntu from Widows, i have had this one particular problem. When I share a whiteboard in Zoom and I annotate on that it works fine but when I share a PDF document, the other participants can see the PDF file but they cannot see what I annotate on that file. So the annotations are visible to everyone when it is on a whiteboard but when it is on a shared screen other than a whiteboard they are not visible to the participants - they are visible to me though!!

Sounds like a good question for zoom support. What version of Ubuntu are you using?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
