Cryptsetup error due to wrong kernel

cn flag

I have Ubuntu 20.04 and run it in VMWare ESXI. Partition was encrypted during Ubuntu installation by native mechanism.

After reboot, Ubuntu doesn't recognize 100% correct password to proceed to load. So I define the reason of failure: I send "Ctrl + Alt + Del" combination to reboot ubuntu and see the GRUB screen. It is GRUB 2.04.

To successfully load ubuntu I do the next step: I selected Advanced options for Ubuntu and then I saw 2 variants, Load Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-52-generic or Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-50-generic. In this case 5.15.0-52-generic doesn't accept the correct password but the 5.15.0-50-generic version works well.

Question:

  1. How to make an automatic load of 5.15.0-50-generic?
  2. How to make 5.15.0-52-generic work with password correctly?
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
