I'm a total newbie to ubuntu.. getting the following notification often

Error:Opening the cache:(
E:can not open/var/lib/apt/lists/deb.nodesource.com_nodesource.com_node%5f14.x_dists_jammy_InRelease_fopen(13:permission denied), 
E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

Did try apt-get in terminal.. not solution so far

"*13:permission denied*" suggests that `sudo` should have been used. However, that's a guess. For better advice, edit your question to include complete input and output.
