Skype on Ubuntu 22.04: STARTUP_TIMEOUT_ERROR

gr flag

I just got a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. I'm trying to install Skype (via snap, v8.89.0.403), but I get:

The button "Sign out" does nothing. The menu entries are not working. Here is the log:

+ export SKYPE_LOGS=/home/cdupont/snap/skype/233/logs
+ [ ! -d /home/cdupont/snap/skype/233/logs ]
+ exec /snap/skype/233/usr/share/skypeforlinux/skypeforlinux

Is it a networking problem? Or an AppArmor problem? Thanks

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
